Silver on black - keeping it simple

I had had this fabric in the stash for over a year, never quite having the right co-ordinating lycra to go with it.  Then two things happened:  I discovered metallic mesh, and one of the lovely Argos gymnasts decided the silver on black was just what she wanted - bling without having the bling!

Based on the Flinstones leo, as per Caitlin's request.

Is it blue, or is it blue?

One from the stash:

Tamsin asked me to make a leo for a friend's birthday, and this is what emerged :)
Happy birthday, Amy!

End of an Era

Anyone who has ever visited us will remember Cheetah our loud, nosy, affectionate and lovable cinnamon & chocolate ocicat - she of the truncated tail but huge personality.

Well, I regret to advise that, at the fine old age of 18, Cheetah has died.
Favourite place to sleep: as close to someone's head as possible!

She is missed.

Tone on Tone

Moving on from the cheerleader is the other leotard for Ashleigh of Argos.  This one is completely different:

I just love this pale mint green, and love the tone on tone effect - so simple and elegant.
It may be more simple than the red, white and gold leo, but it took a lot more thinking, planning, cutting and stitching to make.  Funny how that works sometimes, no?

Red, White and Gold

Give me an A!!

This one is for Ashleigh of Argos... and her mum will be adding the bling: an 'A' in crystals on the star.
Go Ashleigh!!
